Hello, super-mathematicians! 98thPercentile invites both, math enthusiasts & math-fearing students of grades 1-6 to join the Speed-Math Kahoot 2.0 challenge to witness that Math can be both, FAST & FUN!

SPEED MATH KAHOOT 2.0 WILL BE PLAYED IN 2 PARTS:

Part 1: Learning

Upon Registration, Participants Will Have Access To A Video Library Comprising Tutorials For Various Speed Math Skills. They Can Watch & Learn Grade-Specific Speed Math Skills From The Videos.

Part 2: Kahoot Challenge

Having Learned These Amazing Speed Math Skills, The Participants Will Have An Opportunity To Test Their Computing Prowess In A Fun & Engaging Kahoot Challenge. They Would Be Competing With Peers Across The Country Of The Same Grade Category. Along With This, They Stand A Chance To Win Awards & Scholarships Worth $1500.

Additional Details:

  1. 98thPercentile’s Speed-Math Kahoot 2.0 is a video-tutorial-based learning workshop wherein the participants will first learn the Speed-Math Skills and then compete in a fierce Kahoot Challenge. Students of Grades 1-6 are welcomed to participate in this event.
  2. Speed Math Kahoot 2.0 will be held for 3 categories: Grades 1 & 2, Grades 3 & 4, and Grades 5 & 6. Grade levels for the competition are determined by current school grades.
  3. Students and parents are expected to provide correct school details during the time of registration so that they can be placed in age-appropriate groups.
  4. This contest is meant only for students from Grades 1 to 6 residing in the United States.
  5. This is a virtual event that will take place entirely online.
  6. Participants will get access to the video library upon registration.
  7. The Kahoot Challenge for this event will be held on:
    • Grades 1&2: September 3, 2022, 11:30 AM Central Time
    • Grades 3&4: September 4, 2022, 10:00 AM Central Time
    • Grades 5&6: September 4, 2022, 11:30 AM Central Time
  8. Winners will be announced on the day of the contest.
  9. This is a Kahoot challenge, so students will earn points based on speed and accuracy for every question
  10. This is a one-time event, and no follow-up events will occur for this event. Though similar challenges in various categories and subjects will be held monthly.
  11. Awards and Scholarships:
    • 1st place winners: $75 Amazon gift card along with a 12 weeks subscription to any of our programs.
    • 2nd place winners: $50 Amazon gift card along with 80% scholarship subscription for 12 weeks to any of our programs.
    • 3rd place winners: $25 Amazon gift card along with 50% scholarship subscription for 12 weeks to any of our programs.
    • Featured blog interviews and digital press release about the 3 winners per category
    • Participation certificates for all contestants.
  1. Students must confirm their identity upon winning. The top 3 participants would be asked to turn ON their Cameras and will have to answer a speed math problem. They are only eligible for awards & scholarships if they are able to answer the problem correctly. Additionally, if a participant is not willing to turn ON their camera, then he/she will not be eligible for the awards & scholarships.
  2. The scholarships have to be availed within a maximum of 15 days of the event.
  3. The scholarships are applicable for new subscriptions only and not for any renewals.
  4. If a student has already won more than 2 Awards & Scholarships in the last 2 years, they are not eligible for a scholarship even if they win the contest.
  5. This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT.

You need to fill up the basic registration form. Once done, you will get a detailed form on the email ID provided. To complete the registration process, you have to furnish all the details requested in the detailed form.
