Who are We?

S.M.A.R.T Olympiad Details:
- 98thPercentile's S.M.A.R.T Olympiad is an online contest to test students on their aptitude and reasoning skills.
- The S.M.A.R.T Olympiad will be held for 4 categories:
- Grades 1 & 2
- Grades 3 & 4
- Grades 5 & 6
- Grades 7 & 8
- Students and parents are expected to provide correct school details during the time of registration so that they can be placed in age-appropriate groups.
- This contest is meant only for students from Grades 1 to 8 residing in the United States.
- This is a virtual event that will take place entirely online.
- The Kahoot Challenge for this event will be held on:
- Grades 1 & 2: December 14, 2024, 11:00 AM Central Time
- Grades 3 & 4: December 14, 2024, 12:30 PM Central Time
- Grades 5 & 6: December 15, 2024, 11:00 AM Central Time
- Grades 7 & 8: December 15, 2024, 12:30 PM Central Time
- Winners will be announced on the day of the contest.
- This is a Kahoot challenge, so students will earn points based on speed and accuracy for every question.
- This is a one-time event, and no follow-up events will occur for this event. Though similar challenges in various categories and subjects will be held monthly.
- Awards and Scholarships:
- 1st place winners: $75 Amazon gift card along with 100% scholarship to 12-weeks subscription to any of our programs.
- 2nd place winners: $50 Amazon gift card along with an 80% scholarship subscription for 12 weeks to any of our programs.
- 3rd place winners: $25 Amazon gift card along with a 50% scholarship subscription for 12 weeks to any of our programs.
- Featured blog interviews and digital press releases about the 3 winners per category.
- Participation certificates for all contestants.
- Students must confirm their identity upon winning. The top 3 participants would be asked to turn ON their cameras and will have to answer questions. They are only eligible for awards & scholarships if they are able to answer the problem correctly. Additionally, if a participant is not willing to turn ON their camera, they will not be eligible for the awards & scholarships.
- The scholarships must be availed within 15 days of the event.
- If a student has already won more than or equal to 2 Awards & Scholarships in the last 2 years, they are not eligible for participating in the contest. If they still wish to participate, they would not be considered for awards & scholarships.
- The scholarships are applicable for new subscriptions only and not for any renewals.
- This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT.
