Now, the question is to see if your child is code-ready or not? And to bring this clarity, we present to you CAT (Coding Aptitude Tournament). CAT is a fun & engaging, kahoot-based online contest, specifically designed for the students of Grades 1 to 8 to see if they are code-ready or not.

To make this a fun process, we will be having this contest on the most loved kahoot platform and students also stand a chance to win Awards & Scholarships worth Rs. 80,000.

Tournament Details

  1. CAT Tournament will be held for 4 categories: grades 1 & 2, grades 3 & 4, grades 5 & 6, and grades 7 & 8. Grade levels for the competition are determined by current school grades.
  2. Students and parents are expected to provide correct age details during the time of registration.
  3. Category-appropriate questions will be asked.
  4. Contest date is February 5, 2023. All entries for the contest will end by February 3, 2023.
  5. Students are recommended to have their Web Camera turned on at all times during the contest.
  6. Awards & Certificates:
    • 1st place winners: Cash Prize of Rs. 2500 (in form of an Amazon Gift Coupon) and 100% scholarship for 1 Month to our Math or Coding Program.
    • 2nd place winners: Cash Prize of Rs. 1000 (in form of an Amazon Gift Coupon) and 100% scholarship for 1 Month to our Math or Coding Program.
    • 3rd place winners: Cash Prize of Rs. 500 (in form of an Amazon Gift Coupon) and 100% scholarship for 1 Month to our Math or Coding Program.
    • Featured blog interviews and digital press releases about the 3 winners per category
    • Participation certificates for all contestants.
  7. This is a Kahoot challenge. Thus, students will earn points based on speed and accuracy for every question.
  1. Please ensure a proper internet connection as this is an online contest.
  2. This contest has only one level, and no follow-up events will occur for this event, though similar challenges in various categories and subjects will be held monthly.
  3. There is NO ENTRY FEE for this contest. CAT Tournament is a free online live event.
  4. Winner must confirm their identity to receive the prize upon winning. In case the student is not able to confirm their identity, the prize will by default get shifted to the runner-up on the list.
  5. Following the contest, the winner will be interviewed by our PR team and we admit the right to publish the interviews across various channels associated with us.
  6. Participants will receive unique Kahoot IDs via SMS and email as soon as they register for the contest. The mail/SMS must be kept with care, as it will be used as a user ID for the contest.
  7. In case you do not see any communication post-registration, please check your email spam folders.
  8. Participants are requested to subscribe to our mailing list to ensure they do not miss any important communication from 98thPercentile.
  9. In case you have registered for more than one child, you will receive separate unique IDs for each of them.
  10. This is a private contest, and we possess every right to disenroll an entry if our team finds it inappropriate.
